Restos Arqueológicos de Quebrada de la Waca o Puerto Inca

Complejo arqueológico que destaca por su larga ocupación, pues presenta restos que datan del pre cerámico hasta los siglos XIV y XV, indicando la presencia inca. Algunos arqueólogos e historiadores consideran que desde este lugar partía uno de los más importantes caminos inca que, luego de ingresar a territorio ayacuchano, llegaba al Cusco.

Waca Gorge or Puerto Inca Archeological Site

Archeological complex that is known for its long period of human occupation since the remnants there date from the pre-ceramic era to the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, indicating an Incan presence. Some archeologists and historians think that from this site, one of the most important Inca trails started that crossed into the territory of Ayacucho and later arrived in Cusco.
